One day in February 2015, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the Pyongyang Cosmetics Factory.
Looking round different places of the factory, he clearly indicated the problems arising in improving the quality of cosmetics and the ways to solve them.
At the sci-tech learning space, he learned about its operation and said with satisfaction that now it is a trend for every unit to build a sci-tech learning space and run it on a regular basis.
Ryang Kyong Hui, Chief Engineer of the Pyongyang Cosmetics Factory, said:
"When he visited our factory, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un dropped in at the sample room.
He emphasized that the officials and workers should fully display the competitive spirit with high ambition and steadily raise their level of scientific and technological knowledge and skills, adding that the brains of the people should be modernized along with the factory.
When talking about the modernization of factory, it is a general view of the people to think first of the modernization of equipment and production processes.
No matter what modern equipment the factory may have, the value and vitality of its modernization will be lost if the level of scientific and technological knowledge and skills of the working people in charge of the production is not so high.
Kim Jong Un taught the true meaning of modernization to the officials in a comprehensible way."
Today the Pyongyang Cosmetics Factory is producing a lot of cosmetics loved by people by dint of science and technology, regarding it as an important work to build up the forces of talents and technicians.
