A performance “Our Marshal and the People of Kangwon Province” was given at the Kangwon Provincial Art Theatre on November 20 to commemorate the completion of six newly-built army-people power stations amid the great joy of having held the inauguration ceremony of the Hoeyang Army-People Power Station splendidly in the presence of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

The venue of the performance was brimming with the greatest glory and happiness of the Kangwon provincial people who met like in a dream the great father who came to the power station in the rugged mountain and gave them warm blessings.

Among the audience were senior officials of the Cabinet and ministries, chief secretaries of provincial Party committees, chairpersons of provincial people’s committees and officials and working people in Kangwon Province.

In the performance which began with poem and chorus “Yearning”, the performers extended their gratitude reflecting the unanimous mind of the people of the province to the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un who guided the whole process of construction to successfully complete the new power production base, though he was very busy with the state affairs, and bestowed all laurels on the people of Kangwon Province and made sure that the whole country knew about them.

The songs of struggle and advance put on the stage represented the unforgettable days of the construction of power stations when the provincial people devoted every minute and second to implementing the Party’s policies with ardent patriotism and spirit of self-reliance and self-determination to build the lasting wealth for the prosperity of the country by their own efforts.

The audience was touched by the impressive scenes showing that the might of the great army-people unity, the mainstay of the revolution and the root of society, worked such world-startling miracles.

Through the stirring and powerful numbers, the audience keenly felt the pure mental world of the creators of the spirit of Kangwon Province who are rushing in the van of the campaign for implementing the Party’s policies to bring earlier the rosy future by their own efforts, cherishing the firm faith that the Party’s ideas and line are just the truth and victory.

The song “We Are Koreans” made the audience seethe with excitement as it shows the great pride of being Koreans, the strongest people in the world and the most glorious masters of the great Kim Jong Un’s era, who are braving the untrodden path to prosperity by dint of self-reliance and racing against time to usher in an era of great miracles and epochal creations and changes.

The performance was acclaimed by the audience as it demonstrated the iron will of the people of Kangwon Province to continue to exalt the high honour of the exemplary province in implementing the Party’s policies and the creator of the spirit of the times.
