There is the Sci-Tech Complex called a great temple of learning for all the people on the Ssuk Islet in the capital city of Pyongyang.
The complex was built in the shape of a large atomic structure to symbolize the world of science. It has a unique architectural beauty. It is a multifunctional centre for disseminating the advanced science and technology and a grand palace of learning with many indoor sci-tech exhibition halls and outdoor sci-tech exhibition ground, including the basic science hall, scientific study hall, advanced sci-tech hall, virtual science laboratory and children's dream hall.
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un proposed building the Sci-Tech Complex, formed powerful construction forces and solved all problems arising in its construction.
On January 1, 2016 he took part in the inaugural ceremony of the wonderful Sci-Tech Complex and cut the inauguration tape in person. Looking round the interior of the complex, he said this is a great temple of learning for all the people and a base for disseminating the latest science and technology embodying the plan of the Workers' Party of Korea.
That day, he said the inauguration of the Sci-Tech Complex shows how much importance the Party attaches to the front of science and stressed the need to run the complex, a precious asset of the country, well and thus greatly contribute to making all the people well-versed in science and technology and developing the country into a sci-tech and talent power.
His instructions represented his firm will to definitely guarantee the future of the socialist motherland by dint of science and technology.
Today lots of working people and youth and students as well as scientists and technicians come to the Sci-Tech Complex and learn the latest science and technology.
