The DPRK Art Exhibition "The Great People’s Country" opened with splendor at the decorative handicraft gallery in Russia on September 8 to mark the 77 th founding anniversary of the DPRK.
Displayed at the exhibition hall is a photo of respected Comrade Kim Jong Un meeting with Comrade Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, President of the Russian Federation, on his visit to the DPRK in June, 2024.
Exhibited there are art pieces showing the brave spirit of the DPRK people dynamically accelerating the overall development of socialism under the wise leadership of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK), the invincible military muscle and the dignity of the DPRK fully demonstrated before the world and the dignified and happy life of its people.
Present at the opening ceremony were the delegation of the Ministry of Culture led by Minister Sung Jong Gyu, and DPRK Ambassador to Russia Sin Hong Chol and other staff members of the DPRK embassy.
On hand there were Comrade Sergei Shoigu, Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, Comrade Olga Lyubimova, Minister of Culture, personages of the Russian government, political party, social organizations, cultural and art circles and the media, and foreign diplomatic envoys in Russia.
Speeches were made there.
Comrade Sung Jong Gyu, Minister of Culture of the DPRK, said that the DPRK-Russia friendly and cooperative relations are fully demonstrating vitality at a new high stage thanks to the most sincere comradely relations between the top leaders of the two countries.
Comrade Olga Lyubimova, Minister of Culture, welcomed the participants in the opening ceremony on behalf of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and said that the two countries have jointly covered the road for establishing cultural sovereignty, preserving historical and cultural heritage and defending the traditional mental value.
The participants looked round the impressive display of art pieces.
