Grand banquet given for commanding officers and combatants of overseas operation unit of KPA and bereaved families of martyrs

A banquet was given at the Mokran House for the commanding officers and combatants of the overseas operation unit of the Korean People's Army and the bereaved families of the martyrs.
Leading officials of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and major commanding officers of the Ministry of National Defence took part in the banquet together with the commanding officers and combatants of the overseas operation unit of the KPA and the bereaved families of the martyrs.
Pak Jong Chon, Vice-Chairman of the Central Military Commission of the WPK and Secretary of the Party Central Committee, made a speech.
He said our officers and men literally wrote the immortal records of battles at the cost of their blood, displayed militant courage putting the hero stories in the human history of wars to shame and performed legendary military merits in the decisive battlefield of defending the absolute authority of the Party Central Committee, the dignity and honour of our state and the name and tradition of our army, creating a great new history of the KPA and engraving a glorious new page in gold letters in the history of victory of our state.
Our revolutionary armed forces will always win victory in the sacred war in the future, too, with the brilliant heroic battle of the brave soldiers as a model, he said and stressed that all our divisions, brigades, regiments and battalions and the officers and men of the whole army will courageously advance treading on the pavement of the victory.
