The artistic information squad of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League gave a performance “We Are Koreans” at the Central Youth Hall in Pyongyang on July 25 in celebration of the 72nd anniversary of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.
Officials of the youth league and youth and students in Pyongyang saw the performance.
Put on the stage were wartime songs and hymns of the era sung in the years of succession.
The performers sang in high praise of the miraculous legendary tales about war victory won by the Juche-oriented military idea and outstanding commanding art of President Kim Il Sung, the peerlessly legendary brilliant commander, and by the heroic spirit and indomitable struggle of the service personnel and people of the DPRK boundlessly faithful to the leader.
The wartime songs, which encouraged the soldiers of the People’s Army who performed brilliant feats in every battle with surging hatred for the aggressors, revved up the mood of the performance, instilling the spirit of defending the country into the younger generation.
Resounded at the hall were the songs “Glory to General Kim Jong Un” and “The People’s Jubilation” reflecting the boundless reverence of the young vanguard across the country for the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un, who provided a firm guarantee for carrying forward the ever-victorious history of Juche Korea for all ages and glorifies the prestige and honour of the state on the highest level.
The performance ended with the finale “July 27, Our Victory Day”.
