Pyongyang, July 2 (KCNA) -- A spectacular sight of laughter and optimism was presented at the 4km-long sandy beach of the Wonsan Kalma coastal tourist area, the east coastal tourist scenic spot of national value which has been built under the people-first politics of the Workers' Party of Korea and Korean-style socialist system based on "The People Are God".

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un made sure that an unusual leisure complex for the people, the world-class tourist park, was built at the east coastal scenic spot, which is famous for its seaside emotion from old times, in order to make the people enjoy the maritime tourist culture to their heart's content. A tourist service started at the top-class resort on July 1 while conveying his great benevolence.

After hearing the news of the inauguration ceremony of the tourist resort exciting the whole country and startling the world, many tourists from across the country took off their traveling attire on the first day of its operation amid the ardent desire for travel to the wonderful tourist resort without an equal in the world.

Not only working people from Kangwon and South Hamgyong provinces but also many men and women of all ages from the capital city of Pyongyang and North Hamgyong, Ryanggang and Jagang provinces in the northern tip of the country and from provinces, cities and counties in the western areas of the country entered the tourist resort with the joy of enjoying a new highly-civilized life.

They admired the magnificence of the tourist city, where the gatepost harmonizing well with the coastal environment and more than 400 buildings with unique formative artistic beauty have been built along the sandy beach in ideal harmony with each other.

Making rounds of the tourist area equipped with beach-bathing service facilities, various sports and recreation facilities and commercial and neighborhood-serving networks, the tourists felt a new wonderful ground of the tourist culture of our own style which is blooming in the era of the Workers' Party.

The people's happy laughter resounded in each place of the scenic spot.

Myongsasimni (4km-long beach) was crowded with working people bathing in the clean and blue east sea, taking high-speed boats, driving motorcycles on silver-colored sandy beach and having photos taken with joy and optimism of enjoying the best coastal tourist civilization before anyone else.

The Myongsasimni outdoor wading pool was full of tourists enjoying steep water slides, sledge water slides, bowl-type quick water slides, water skis and other latest water amusement apparatuses.

The tourists spent a good time, receiving kind services at commercial and neighborhood-serving networks.

The night on the Kalma peninsula, where they enjoy themselves with new civilization and a new wellbeing, led to a new hopeful day, picturing a 4km-long tide of the people which will be spread boundlessly. -0-
