The Workers' Party of Korea makes the people-first principle run through its work and activities under the slogans "Everything for the people and everything by relying on them!" and "Let the whole Party make selfless, devoted efforts for the good of the great people!".
On October 17, 2022, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, visited the Central Cadres Training School of the WPK and gave a historic lecture.
In the lecture he said our Party was born to look after the interests of the working masses of the people and has worked to provide them with a happy life since its founding and that's why the people follow the Party, calling it mother.
He also provided important guidelines for strengthening and developing the WPK into the motherly Party in many works and different Party meetings.
And whenever opportunities permit, he stresses that it is one of the top-priority tasks our Party should carry out to go deep among the people when they are in difficulties, share joy and sorrow with them, give them strength and courage and render sincere assistance to them.
He devotes his ceaseless efforts to further strengthening and developing the WPK into the motherly Party making selfless, devoted efforts for the good of the people.
Whenever he sees the happy people and their wealth increase one by one, he beams all over his face and often says he is making revolution just for it.
That is why the Korean people follow the WPK led by him, calling it the motherly Party.
