Pyongyang, June 21 (KCNA) -- The agricultural high-tech exchange company under the Academy of Agricultural Sciences in the DPRK newly established the organic food production system Paekmi (rice).
As the exchange company built an organic food production line based on processing equipment, sorting and vacuum-packing, it came to build the organic food production system Paekmi that guarantees the nutritive function and quality, free from contamination in the whole processes ranging from production and harvest to processing, storage and transport.
The sci-tech achievements made in the production of organic farm products which conform with the standard indices won the Advanced Science and Technology and Products Exhibition-2024 and the 37th National Festival of Science and Technology.
The exchange company has presented Paekmi products that awarded organic quality certification to domestic public catering networks and international trade fairs, winning great popularity. In the course it has conducted academic and product exchanges with foreign countries and international organic agricultural institutions and its products are winning popularity among purchasers.
Meanwhile, it is paying attention to the service activities through the shops displaying thousands of excellent agricultural sci-tech products presented by agricultural scientific research institutes, universities of agriculture and production units across the country and to the exchanges of agricultural sci-tech achievements and experience and the organic certificate technology service through computer networks. -0-
