Every April, excitement builds up with house moving in the capital city of Pyongyang.

New dwellers in the Hwasong area and well-wishers alike give free rein to their delight, saying it is dreamlike and their country is a paradise for the people.

Such remarks are echoed elsewhere—up and down the country wherever people live—by emotion-charged words of gratitude to the Workers’ Party of Korea.

New rural houses were built for the first time at a remote village of the Kumchang Farm in Hochon County, South Hamgyong Province. Having received the house licence, farmers told that they could hardly open the door of the new house as excellent as the one in Pyongyang’s Kyongru-dong.

Besides, their children are provided with new school uniforms and things every year, and even dairy products every day.

Local women are so pleased that their children have become as healthy and good-looking as urban children since they were supplied with dairy products. Children on an island said they have seen a car or train only on TV, but they have seen an aircraft carrying every year the gifts associated with the benevolence of the fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un for them, which reflects the happy looks of the Korean people enjoying the benefits of the socialist system.

In April this year there was a show of goods made by regional-industry factories in 20 cities and counties. After the event, Unchon County of South Hwanghae Province held its own show with the goods it had presented to the event.

Local residents were all surprised to see the variety of products which has doubled in a few months since the inauguration of the factories.

A farmer in Kumya County, South Hamgyong Province, said: “When modern regional-industry factories were built in Kimhwa County, Kangwon Province, we were envious of the residents in the county, but now we have better factories. Ever-improving wellbeing has become a part of our life.”

To start to build in the most remote areas and to push the construction as broadly and quickly as possible—this is the policy of the Workers’ Party of Korea which is not content with what it has done for the good of the people.

While the people are witnessing a new history of regional development, regional rejuvenation, which is unfathomable in its scope and depth, new domains of happiness and civilization are steadily coming into being.

Pyongyang General Hospital, a world-class medical centre; Sinpho City Offshore Farm, a new model of advanced offshore farming; the ongoing project for the largest-ever greenhouse farm and vegetable science research centre which will highlight a higher stage of development process of regional rejuvenation; the city of Samjiyon that is turning into a world-class mountain tourist resort; the Kalma Coastal Tourist Area which will rise to fame as one of the world’s tourist destinations, etc.

The cheers of the people for the era of the Workers’ Party of Korea when all their dreams and ideals are brought into reality are reverberating far and wide in the clear and blue sky over the country.
