Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, received a reply message from Thongloun Sisoulith, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and president of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, on April 28.
The reply message is as follows:
Dear Comrade Kim Jong Un,
I express heartfelt thanks to you, Comrade, on behalf of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and all its members and the bereaved family of General Khamtay Siphandone, former chairman of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and president of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, for sending a message of condolence on the occasion of his demise.
Your having sent the message of condolence is an expression of the traditional friendship, solidarity and cooperation between the two parties, two states and two peoples of the Lao People's Democratic Republic and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and an encouragement that shared sorrow with the Lao party, state and people and the bereaved families of General Khamtay Siphandone and gave them great strength.
I wish you, Comrade, good health and happiness and success in your noble work.
