On April 25, a significant day when the first revolutionary armed forces of the Juche type were born, all the people and service personnel of the Korean People’s Army in the DPRK pay high tribute to the forerunners who left precious revolutionary legacies to be handed down to posterity.
Pak Thae Song and Choe Ryong Hae, members of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, and other senior Party, government and military officials visited the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt Taesong on April 25 to lay flowers at it.
Among the visitors were bereaved children of anti-Japanese revolutionary martyrs and anti-Japanese patriotic martyrs and teaching staff and students of revolutionary schools.
The senior Party, government and military officials, together with other visitors, paid silent tribute to the memory of the revolutionary martyrs who had devoted their lives to the sacred cause for the independence, sovereignty, development and prosperity of the country and for the freedom and happiness of the people.
Then the visitors went round the cemetery.
They laid flowers before the busts of martyrs and paid high tribute to them.
