KPA Displaying Matchless Might

Pyongyang, February 6 (KCNA) -- All the people in the DPRK are greeting the 77th birthday of the heroic Korean People's Army which has demonstrated its might as the revolutionary armed forces of the Workers' Party of Korea, the guards of the DPRK government and the genuine people's army. The army's original idea, embroidered on the sacred colours at the beginning of the army building, and the true picture of the heroic KPA glorifying the brilliant tradition of the anti-Japanese war with victories are more clearly highlighted as the appearance of the powerful army along with the immortal annals, the greatest heyday of bolstering up the military muscle, and the new era of the Juche revolution. The respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un set forth the unique army-building line and policies, including the programme for modeling the whole army on Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism and the four-point policy on building a powerful army. He advanced the militant task for turning all units of different services, arms and core and sub-units into a-match-for-a-hundred combat ranks and personally went to the training grounds to guide actual maneuvers. Under his guidance, the KPA brought about a revolutionary turn in rounding off its combat preparedness and remarkably increased its combat capability. He developed the KPA into the strongest army with the powerful nuclear treasured sword. This is a distinguished exploit he performed in building the Juche-based revolutionary armed forces. The year 2024, which brilliantly recorded a page in the history of building a powerful army under his guidance, made the Korean people deeply feel the name of the strong self-defensive nation and the dignity of the strong people and redoubled the courage and conviction of a bright future of Juche Korea which is guaranteed by the powerful military muscle. Under the illustrious commander’s idea of building a powerful army and energetic guidance, the revolutionary armed forces of the DPRK have grown into the army strong in idea and faith and a-match-for-a-hundred revolutionary army. They have been prepared as the invincible militant ranks possessed of perfect actual war capability for fighting any form of war, regarding it as their lifeblood and supreme honour to defend the Party Central Committee at the cost of their lives. And they are now further consolidating the militant might to annihilate any formidable enemy at a single blow.
