NK News is hiring

On January 7, the spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Commerce expressed strong discontent and opposition as regards the actions of the U.S. Department of Defense that included several Chinese entities on its list of Chinese munitions businesses.

The spokesperson denounced that the U.S. side is groundlessly criticizing China’s strategy for fusing the munitions and non-munitions industries and unreasonably putting pressure on Chinese businesses while neglecting the WTO rules and market principles and steadily expanding the national security concept.

The U.S. approach seriously destroys the international economic and trade order and undermines the stability of the global industry and supply chain, the spokesperson said and demanded the U.S. side to respect the facts and rules and put an immediate stop to its wrong approach.

The spokesperson concluded by stressing that China will take all necessary measures to firmly safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of its businesses.
