The Pyongyang Cosmetics Factory was turned into a model and standard of the cosmetics factories in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea thanks to the fatherly love of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who spares nothing for the people and provides them with happy life.
In February 2015 Kim Jong Un visited the Pyongyang Cosmetics Factory, guided the blueprints for its reconstruction into a modern factory and took measures for sending powerful construction and sci-tech forces and supplying materials.
He called at the remodelled factory in October 2017 and set forth the tasks facing it including the issue on producing larger quantities of cosmetics of different kinds which can compete with the world-famous ones.
In order to carry out the tasks he gave during his field guidance, the officials and employees of the factory have developed and produced more than 530 varieties of cosmetics of 160 kinds over the past seven years by devoting their wisdom and passion to the work for making the "Unhasu (Galaxy)"-trademarked cosmetics famous goods.
The researchers and technicians of the factory developed quality cosmetics with Kaesong Koryo insam, special product of the country, as principal raw material including powder cream, lotion and anti-ultraviolet aqueous cream.
Popular are the hair cosmetics produced at the factory, including the dyeing shampoo with both the hair dyeing and cleansing effects and the shampoo giving refreshing feelings.
The factory has also developed and produced skin-protection and anti-aging cosmetics suited to the physical constitution and tastes of the Korean people and greatly increased the kinds and varieties of perfumes including those for car, body and room.
The employees have presented novel ideas one after another and actively introduced them into production, increasing the output of make-up cosmetics such as colour pencil.
Over 30 varieties of goods produced at the factory got the quality authentication of the Eurasia Economic Union.
The producers of the factory always say that the harder they work to develop new products and improve their quality, the more beautiful the Korean women will become and the richer the fragrance of the "Unhasu"-trademarked cosmetics will get throughout the country.
