Mother’s Day was enacted madeas an official holiday personally by respected Comrade Kim Jong Un in appreciation recognition of the hard work put in by mothers for the country, the people, the society and the collective as a whole. This holiday of the DPRK is filled with emanates with his consideratethoughtful love, efforts and noble will. All the mothers in the country, and their sons and daughters, see in this day with great joy and happiness. They are replete with filled with willingness to return the love of respected Comrade Kim Jong Un through their boundless loyalty, patriotism and burning devotion.

Mothers in the DPRK had used to suffer from social inequality and feudal restraint in the past for a long time.
